It consists of a central body on which there are six ÒƒØ 20mm or Ø 24mm pistons which compress on a pack of three steel disks and two discs covered with friction material on both sides. A system of springs interposed between the disks widens them when the brake is released, preventing the wheel from being braked.
The 6″ braking units are 6-piston and are available in version with Ø 20mm or Ø 24mm pistons.
All 5″ and 8″ braking units are 6-piston and are available in version with Ø 24mm pistons.
The 8″ braking units are available with two brake disks.
All braking units are available with an integrated axle made of Aluminum 7075 T6 which can resist up to 450 kg for 6G, or with a steel axle for heavy aircraft and heavy duty, in order to optimize the masses.
