Approach, overflight and landing/takeoff procedures

APPROACHING FROM SOUTH
Coming from the South on the vertical of the River Sesia return the traverse of Mount Fenera to 3000 ft on the QNH keep therefore bow 330 ° avoiding the overflight of population centers up to the field.

Normally there is no radio service, however, make the call to the air on 130.00 mhz approaching by reporting altitude and position to inform other aircraft operating in the area.

Return the field sky and enter the circuit according to the windbreaker’s instructions.

CIRCUIT
In the event of a final for 19, do not fly over the sports facilities north of the Campo.

In Meggiana in Valsesia we built the second slope of the Italian Alps.
The track is 216 meters long and has a maximum slope of 18 percent.
It is located at 1600 meters and is approved as airfield.

A few steps away there is a refuge where you can taste Valsesian specialties: in the summer the shepherd of the nearby farmhouse produces and sells toma, ricotta and butter.

MEGGIANA TRACK IS INTENDED FOR PRIVATE USE,
TO LAND IT IS NECESSARY AUTHORIZATION.

It is advisable to first land at the airfield of Roccapietra (Varallo)
