This Marc-Ingegno parking brake valve is designed to keep the aircraft stationary for a long time, very safely and reliably.

The parking brake valve must be installed between the master brake cylinders and the brake calipers.

Its purpose is to keep the aircraft stationary, it keeps the brake pads constantly pressed, so that the plane can’t move when it is parked on the ground.

This model is a two-way parking brake valve, each of them has one inlet port (connected to the master brake cylinder) and one outlet port connected to the calipers. These two ports are operated and controled by a lever.

The lever is connected to a camshaft that opens or closes the internal pistons.

The pistons allow two-way (bidirectional) flow, when the valve is in open position.
One-way (monodirectional) flow when the valve is in the closed position.
Also an internal spring guarantees a correct seal under pressure, for a reliable use over time.

To keep the aircraft stationary, simply rotate the lever to closed position and then press the brake pedals.

To free the aircraft, simply rotate the lever without using the pedals
