In Meggiana di Piode, site in Valsesia, we build the second Airfield on slopes in Italian Alps.  The Landing strip has lenght of 216 meters and has a max slope of 18 percent. It is located at an altitude of 1600 meters and it is approved as Airfield. Really near to the Airfield there is a mountain hut where to taste typical Valsesian plates: in summer  the local shepherd produce and sell Toma (typical Valsesian cheese), Ricotta and butter.
